What does happiness mean to you?

Through my experiences, some trials and tribulations – as well as a little bit of luck – I was able to uncover the simple things in life that really make me happy. In fact, its more the simplicity of things that makes me happy.
“Simplicity means the achievement of maximum effect with minimum means” – Dr. Kaichi Kawana
There are many other things that play a role in my happiness including friends, family, purpose, etc. But happiness isn’t all about external things – I believe it comes from the inside. I’d like to hear the opinion of some of our readers:

Spreading the love makes me happy! I feel the most happy when I am spending time with people, animals or the outdoors that share and accept positive energy from those around them.

Happiness to me is being surrounded by an environment, and community that grows together, flourishes as one, and ultimately affects the places and people around them in a positive way. The ability to be a part of something that shares a common goal is an incredibly happy feeling.
